time marches on

Samson seems to following in Eli's footsteps so there is hope.  Eli has turned out to be a good dog but in looking back at old posts he had a lot of the behavior problems that Samson now has.

Moved mom again yesterday hopefully for the last time.  Hope she is able to find some joy.

57 is slipping away never to be seen again.

Weather has been strange this winter--not much snow but lots of rain and has not been very cold for the most part.

Samson

Samson is the newest edition to the household.  He is very cute and a lot of work.  I have not had much success in training him hopefully he will come around like Eli did.  This morning he is getting into everything that can be gotten into-I think we need to take a long long long walk.

I'm back

Well it seems to have been awhile since I last posted. Thank goodness my computer remembers my log in info for I certainly don't. We now have another dog--a relative to Eli. He is 4 months old and actually is a lot like Eli was at this age. Yes we are back into diapers and housebreaking is not going too well but he is really cute.....

Time is marching on--been here over three & 1/2 years--seems like I have always lived here. Have met lots of new people, really like my job and have much to look forward to. My mom has now been living in Ohio over a year and is still going strong at 88. Will I make it to 88?

Dan is buying a condo in Connecticut so I should be going to visit in September. Hope to go to Florida later in the year and will be traveling to Palm Springs in late October for work.

trip for work is coming up........
it is getting pretty cold out.....
I had Thanksgiving coming a week earlier than it really does.....
saw doctor today.......he probably thinks I am crazy now........
Eli is casing the water dish??????It is almost as if he is afraid of it....
past my bedtime------I am usually up at 5........
Last but certainly not least----My faithful friend Scruffy is no longer with us

I am tired and need to go to bed.

Feel bad having to put Eli back in his crate--can't imagine having to be in a crate for hours on end.

The diaper is working out good--not so good as far as housebreaking but good as far as freedom .... Now we need to work on the biting

I think my brain goes to fast for my fingers--I often type dyslexic (is that a word?)

Well maybe I can get one game of scrabble in....

Changed my get away plans for Columbus weekend when I realized I am not OFF Columbus day!!

If I won the lottery right now I would buy my sister a mini cooper--she really really wants one

Well I am enjoying a house with NO dogs. I have banished them all outside.

My brain needs some rejuvenation.

My body wants some food.

Looking forward to a nice day tomorrow.

Off to doggie school with Eli--we can use all the help we can get!!
